Metabo Centar d.o.o., based in Kragujevac, Serbia, specializes in importing, distributing, and servicing machines, tools, accessories, and equipment for both professional and personal use. Founded in 2010 as an official partner of the German brand METABO, the company expanded in 2016 through a partnership with KAPRO, introducing premium measuring tools from Israel.

With a dedicated team and a strong distributor network across Serbia, Metabo Centar operates exclusively through wholesale channels, serving both physical and online retailers. The company also provides certified servicing and imports additional professional brands such as HiKOKI, PROXXON, and CARAT.


Before partnering with KAPRO, Metabo Centar had no experience with measuring tools. However, observing growing demand among METABO distributors, the company identified a clear opportunity. The challenge lay in launching a brand with no local recognition, requiring efforts to educate the market, raise awareness, and build trust from the ground up.


The company started by introducing a small range of essential KAPRO spirit and laser levels, gradually expanding to nearly the full portfolio. The sales team actively promotes products to distributors, demonstrating professional use cases and providing guidance tailored to specific needs.

Metabo Centar also hosts an annual distributor event at its headquarters, showcasing tools through live demonstrations and giving partners valuable hands-on experience.


Market adoption was initially cautious, but thanks to consistent effort and a reputation for quality, KAPRO gradually became a trusted brand within Metabo Centar’s portfolio. What began with modest sales in the early years has grown consistently year after year, leading to strong and sustainable expansion. Today, KAPRO is widely recognized in Serbia and continues to strengthen its position in the market
